Meet Our 2022-2023 Charities

During our January meeting, we were honored to have five organizations (nominated by our members) educate us on their purposes, needs and goals. They answered questions about who benefits from their work and how they would use funds, should they be selected as one of our top three charities this year. The membership will vote during the February meeting and those chosen will benefit from the proceeds of our Basket Raffle in April. The Natalie Barnhard Center for Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation and Recovery

Motion Project Foundation was developed to assist individuals who suffered a spinal cord injury and their families, to put recovery in motion, rise above thier injury and improve their overall health.

Plymouth Crossroads

​

Plymouth Crossroads offers a residential program for males ages 16-24 who are homeless, runaway, or victims of abuse.

Reading Rover

​

The Reading Rover is a school bus filled with free books to keep, activities, and other resources for kids and their families. It travels the community during summer, and is sponsored by the West Seneca School Librarians, the school district, and the West Seneca Rotary.

Sloan Comfort Care Home

​

The Sloan Comfort Care Home provides a safe and comfortable home for persons at end-of-life to receive comfort care from loving caretakers around the clock, treating the guests with dignity and respect, and providing peace for the guests and their loved ones.

West Seneca Food Pantry.jpg

West Seneca Food Pantry

​

The West Seneca Food Pantry is an independent organization, operating out of Saint David's Parish House. The Pantry is operated under the direction of Debbie Dalessandro and her dedicated staff of volunteers. It offers free food to qualified West Seneca residents, including people who attend West Seneca schools and churches.
